Originally from the south side of Indianapolis, Nikki Gordy has lived in Avon for the last 7 years.  She and her two children attend Kingsway Christian Church, and she is very involved in her children's activities through school, sports, and scouting.  She and her family take advantage of the parks, libraries, and community events in the area and love the community feel of Avon.
As a sales and marketing specialist for PIP Printing, Nikki assists businesses in the Hendricks County area and surrounding region with their marketing plans, helping them grow their businesses.  She has worked in the marketing field for the last 8 years and continues to build and grow relationships through Rainmakers, Chambers of Commerce, and other networking opportunities.
Her motivation for getting involved in Avon government was to be able to make an impact in her community, by using her knowledge and skills to move Avon forward, attracting new businesses to the area.  She feels that Avon has grown quickly and has had to be reactive to planning issues rather than proactive.
Jason Flint

Jason Flint

Jason Flint was born and raised in Washington, IN on his family farm.  After graduating high school, Jason attended Butler University where he met his beautiful bride Missy and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.  While briefly living on the Northwest side of Indianapolis, Jason started his career at the accounting firm Deloitte.  Deciding to try something new, Jason then accepted a position with Aldi in retail management.  Jason reentered the accounting world at Adesa in Plainfield before earning his CPA license in 2006 and finding his way to Steel Dynamics in Pittsboro where he is the Assistant Controller.

While hunting for their first home over ten years ago, Jason and Missy fell in love with the Avon area.  They have enjoyed watching this community grow as their family has grown along with it.  Jason and Missy now have 5 children that they adore.  Since moving to Avon, Jason has been on the Avon Board of Zoning Appeals, Planning Commission, Redevelopment Commission, and a member of Kingsway Christian Church.  In addition, Jason was a 2010 graduate of Leadership Hendricks County.

Jason became involved in Avon government to give back the community.  His desire is to help build on Avon's successes and help guide Avon through its challenges.  It is Jason's desire for Avon to continue to be a great place to live, work and play!

In his free time, Jason enjoys dates with his wife, playing with his kids, playing basketball, hiking, running and reading.  The Flints are proud to call Avon and Hendricks County home!
