Dan Jones Rd at US 36 - Additional through lane north and south, curb and gutters, sidewalks, landscaping and center median.
A temporary lane shift for eastbound US 36 traffic at Dan Jones will take place next week so that a center pedestrian refuge island can be constructed. Work is anticipated to last through the week. For eastbound traffic the existing left turn lane will be closed and the left through lane will become a temporary left turn lane. The right turn lane will become a temporary through and right lane. Traffic backups are expected. Please use alternate routes if possible to avoid this intersection. Westbound US 36 traffic will not be impacted by this temporary lane shift. Project will be complete by June 30, 2010.
Resurfacing of Dan Jones Rd
Resurfacing and pavement markings are complete. Raised Pavement markers will be installed on Monday April 26th weather permitting. Project limits extend from approximately Northfield Dr south to CR 300 S. Project expected to be complete by the end of May. Work will require temporary lane restrictions and delays to drivers are anticipated. Please use alternate routes if possible. Rieth Riley Construction Company is completing the project.
Salt Storage Facility
Building and site work is complete. Landscaping and seeding is underway. New facility will allow the Town to store between 2800 and 3000 tons of sand and salt. The existing Town shed holds approximately 150 tons of material. The construction of the salt barn is anticipated save the Town approximately $30,000 per year, will allow us to provide an increased level of service and reduce the amount of sand on Town streets. Building cost is approximately $340,000.
CR 200 S and Dan Jones Rd - Dual Lane Roundabout
Project will be bid on May 12th. Construction anticipated to begin in or around June 1st. Intersection to be closed for approximately 60 days but will reopen prior to the start of School on August 17th.

CR 100 North and Dan Jones Rd - Dual Lane Roundabout
Intersection 99% complete and open to traffic. Several final punchlist items should be completed in Spring of 2010. Construction Cost for project just over $1.9 million.

CR 100 N Resurfacing
Work to consist of the milling and overlay of CR 100 N from Richfield Dr to Kinross Dr. Project will begin April 26th with sign layout and stationing. Project expected to be complete by July 30th. Work will require temporary lane restrictions and delays to drivers are anticipated. Please use alternate routes if possible. Milestone Contracting will be completing the work.
CR 200 N and Ronald Reagan Parkway - Traffic Signal Installation
Signal is complete and operational.
Ronal Reagan Parkway - From US 36 to CR 100 S
Constructino is underway. The first phase of the project will consist of hauling in dirt and construction of bridge piers. Project to be completed by September 2012.

Construction proposed for Fall 2010 if funds available.
