VIN Checks

For Vehicle Identification Number  (VIN) inspections you may call our non-emergency number for dispatch (317-839-8700) and have an officer come to your house to inspect your vehicle.  Please note that VIN checks are $5.00 each.  Please bring exact amount for payment.  Your VIN inspection certificate will be returned to the Administrative Offices of the Avon Police Department at 6570 E. US Hwy 36, where you can pick them up after payment.   VIN Checks may be paid for by Money Order, Bank Check or Cash.  We do not accept credit cards, debit cards or personal checks.
