$3.2 Million of federal funding awarded to Town for road projects

The Town has been awarded federal funding for various road safety projects in Town. Contracts have been awarded for design for the various projects. The projects include installation of a dedicated left turn lane on Dan Jones Road at the CSX Entrance; installation of guardrail on CR 625 E adjacent to the Haunted Bridge; replacement of all street signs in Town to meet new federal reflectivity standards; installation of emergency vehicle preemption equipment on traffic signals in Town; realignment of CR 100 S at CR 900 E; installation of left turn signal at CR 150 S/Dan Jones traffic signal; construction of roundabout at CR 100 N/CR 1050 E and construction of roundabout at CR 625 E/CR 150 S. The Town's local match is $356,000.
