The Government Reorganization Study Committee of Avon and Washington Township met on February 1, 2012 for their first meeting. The members were sworn in and received presentations from the Town and Township regarding the services of each unit of government. The Committee discussed the process for the Study and will meet again on February 16 at 7 pm. The tentative meeting location is the Washington Township Park Pavilion. At the February 16 meeting, the committee will appoint a chairperson and establish the process for the Study. The Committee meetings are open to the public.
