The Planning Department is responsible for overseeing a variety of town construction policies and regulations, as well as Zoning Code Enforcement.

 

Christine Owens is the Planning Director. Ms. Owens has been Director since 2005. She graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor's Degree in Public and Environmental Affairs. She has worked for the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission as Environmental Planner. She has also worked for the City of Valparaiso as Community Development Planner and Assistant Planner.
