The Avon Police Department facilitates a free Child Identification Card program for our community. This program was launched in 2015 and facilitated exclusively by donations from Harlan Bakeries, Parabellum Firearms, and Chick-fil-A of Avon.
This program allows parents to provide detailed information, a photograph, and fingerprint for their child into our secured database. Parents are provided the identification card and our agency will retain the information packet for the child in the need of a missing person or amber alert situation. With over 2,00 children in our registry, we are pleased to offer this service to our community.
This program is found at a number of community events throughout the year. If you are interested in obtaining a Child ID card for your children you can monitor our social media for upcoming event.
