Alarm Permit Process

Residential and Business Alarm Permits 

The Town of Avon requires residences and businesses within the town limits to obtain an alarm permit for any and all alarm systems installed.

  • Residential Alarm Permits - $50.00 each and valid for 2 years.
  • Business Alarm Permits    - $50.00 each and valid for 1 year.

Alarm permits may be obtained at the Avon Town Hall, as no appointment is needed. We will accept your cashier's check, personal check, or money order for payment.  Additionally, you may pay with a credit or debit card, at Town Hall, for an additional $3.00 filing fee.  We do not accept cash payments.
